Cascada Expediciones nominated at TRAVEL + LEISURE 2025 World’s Best Awards

Among 38 other incredible tour operators, Cascada Expediciones has been nominated again for the TRAVEL + LEISURE 2025 World´s Best Awards 2025 in the category "Tour Operators and Safari Outfitters." There are more than 1,100 travel companies operating in Chile, so it is a big honor to be nominated as one of the best in such a renowned magazine. Furthermore, our sustainable dome hotel, EcoCamp Patagonia, has been nominated in the category "best hotel in Chile"!

To vote for us, visit the Travel + Leisure voting website at TLWBAVOTE.com and follow these simple steps:  

1. When you access the site, it will ask if it’s your first time voting. If it is, you’ll need to answer whether you currently reside in the United States.  

2. Next, create an account by entering your email and setting up a password.  

3. After registering, the site will ask for some basic information, including your gender, age, continent, and country of residence.  

4. You’ll also see a few quick questions about how you engage with the magazine—such as if you’ve visited their website, signed up for their newsletter, or followed them on social media. Don’t worry—your responses won’t affect your ability to vote.  

5. Finally, you’ll be asked to indicate the countries you’ve visited over the past three years. Here, you can highlight all the destinations you’ve explored. To vote for Cascada Expediciones, it’s important to select Chile. Then, on the next side, you choose the categories you want to rate in the chosen destinations.  To rate Cascada Expediciones, choose "Tour Operators and Safari Outfitters."  If you have stayed at EcoCamp Patagonia and enjoyed it, please help us vote and evaluate your stay by choosing "Hotels" as well.

Cascada Expediciones was founded in 1991 to create an outdoor adventure travel company that showcases the best of Chile. Since then, it has expanded to Argentina and Bolivia as well. 

Our expert areas are Chilean and Argentinean Patagonia - an area that calls for authentic adventures in the wilderness! This is also why we dreamt of having a hotel inside the national park Torres del Paine, a park known for its vastness, wildlife, and diverse outdoor activities to choose from. The dream came true in the shape of the sustainable dome hotel, EcoCamp Patagonia. The hotel specializes in outdoor adventures like the W trek, the Paine O Circuit, Puma-Watching, and daily activities through its most popular program, Wildlife Safari. 

Another highlight is the hiking destination El Chaltén and the beautiful Argentinean city of El Calafate, from which you can visit the famous Perito Moreno Glacier. Argentina offers many beautiful hikes with stunning views and different levels. Many of our guests combine Argentinean Patagonia with Chilean Patagonia to get the best of both countries! 

Another favorite destination is the Atacama Desert, the other extreme of Chile. Here, the adventures are different: higher altitude, warm days, and cold nights. But the scenery is amazing! Culturally, there is much to explore, but this is also the best place in the world for star-gazing! As an outdoor agency, we have, of course, various hiking programs in the desert.
