Santiago de Chile

Your adventure begins with a pickup from your hotel, followed by a trip to La Vega, Chile's largest market. There, we'll immerse ourselves in the bustling atmosphere, selecting fresh ingredients for a cooking session with a renowned chef. Next, at the chef's home, we plunge into the art of cooking, interspersed with enjoying Chilean cocktails and appetizers, and learning about the local cuisine's cultural significance. After savoring our culinary creations and fine Chilean wine, we'll return you to your hotel. Choose from menus including Seafood, Chilean Barbecue, Meats, or Vegetarian options.

  • Seafood examples: Ceviche, parmesan Scallops, Prawns or Razor Clams, Spicy Chilean scallops or prawns, Chilean sea bass, variety of Chilean fishes, Conger Chowder (Caldillo de Congrio), Salmon Chiloé Style (Cancato), etc.

  • Chilean Barbecue examples: Chilean Pork Ribs, Chicken cooked in mud oven, Chilean Barbecue Grill, Disco de Arado.

  • Chilean Meats examples: Mechada beef, Cognac marinated Chicken, Red Wine marinated Skirt Steak, Plateada.

  • Vegetarian examples: Quinoa Risotto, Grilled or stuffed Veggies.

We use comfortable minivans that normally seat from 2 to 8 people.

Weather

Santiago has a mild Mediterranean climate with relatively hot, dry summers (November to March) with temperatures reaching up to 35 degrees Celsius (95 degrees Fahrenheit) on the hottest days. Winters (June to September) are more humid, with cold mornings and typical maximum daily temperatures of 13 degrees Celsius (55 degrees Fahrenheit), and minimums of a few degrees above freezing. Occasional snowfall occurs in suburbs at higher altitudes.
