Visit the legendary Concha y Toro Winery of central Chile, touring the vineyard, visiting the aging cellar, and partaking in a sublime wine tasting. Cheers to that!
We're picked up from our hotel and driven to the legendary Concha y Toro Winery. An interesting tour awaits us covering the company history while walking through the extensive vineyards. We visit the famous wine cellar, home to many legends including the Casillero del Diablo mystery and then we enjoy a tasting session from a special collection of wines including Don Melchor - voted one of the best Chilean wines for the last 15 years.
There's time to visit the wine bar on our own and meander through the gift shop admiring (and maybe purchasing from) the vast selection of wines. We are driven back to our hotel in Santiago from the vineyard.
Private departures are available every day on request from January to December.
*Please note that this excursion does not operate on Jan 1st, Dec 15th and 25th.
The trip starts at your hotel in Santiago either at 9 am or 2 pm, and finishes at the same point approximately 4 hours later.
We use comfortable minivans that normally seat from 8 to 14 persons.
Central Chile has a mild Mediterranean climate with relatively hot, dry summers (November to March) with temperatures reaching up to 35 degrees Celsius (95 degrees Fahrenheit) on the hottest days. Winters (June to September) are more humid, with cold mornings and typical maximum daily temperatures of 13 degrees Celsius (55 degrees Fahrenheit), and minimums of a few degrees above freezing.
You need to bring your personal belongings and a good camera!
