Snowshoe through the Andes between Chile and Argentina and experience winter from the top of the world! Led by an expert guide, leave Santiago behind for a thrilling day on snowy trails, surrounded by breathtaking views while learning about Chile's diverse geology, flora, and fauna.
Hike through the stunning Andes Mountains in the picturesque Cajón del Maipo valley on this wintry adventure. After departing from Santiago, we’ll head east towards the mountains with our expert guide. We’ll first stop at a local market for snacks before reaching the trailhead, where the guide will provide snowshoe instructions and safety tips.
The two-and-a-half-hour ascent takes us to the Aguas Panimavida area, offering incredible views of the Andes and the towering El Morado mountain. After a box lunch, we’ll head back down and, if desired, stop for a traditional Chilean meal and beer before returning to Santiago.
Regular departures are available every day on request from May to September.

Central Chile has a mild Mediterranean climate, winters (June to September) are more humid, with cold mornings and typical maximum daily temperatures of 13 degrees Celsius (55 degrees Fahrenheit), and minimums of a few degrees above freezing.
